Director de fotografía de los largometrajes: “Memento Mori” de Fernando Lopez, nominada a mejor fotografía en los premios Macondo 2024 y ganadora de mención de honor a la mejor fotografía cinematográfica en el Festival de Cine de Lima, Perú 2023. 'Cavewoman' de Spiros Stathoulopoulos, protagonizada por Angeliki Papoulia (The Lobster, Dogtooth), fue galardonada con el premio J.F Costopoulos, en el festival de cine Thessaloniki en 2022.  'El alma quiere volar' de Diana Montenegro, fue seleccionada en los festivales Tallin Black Nights y en IFFMH en Alemania 2020.
 En el primer semestre del 2024 Andrés fillmó en Atenas, Grecia su cuarto largometraje del director Spiros Stathoulopoulos, protagonizado por Angeliki Papulia y Jan Bijvoet (El abrazo de la serpiente, Peaky Blinders).  Recientemente, filmó como director de fotografía de la segunda unidad la serie Delirio para Netflix. 
Su trabajo ha hecho parte de festivales como Camerimage, Cairo, Bogoshorts, Miami, entre otros.  También fue seleccionado en el programa 'Visions', de la A.S.C, en donde tiene como mentor a Checco Varesse ASC (It 2, Los 33).  
Aparte de su trabajo en cine y televisión, Andrés es un DP activo en publicidad y videos músicales  También es magister en dirección de fotografía de la escuela de cine FAMU (Praga, República Checa).  Desde el 2023 es miembro activo de la asociación de directores de fotografía de Colombia (ADFC)

'Longing Souls' by Diana Montenegro, was selected at the Tallinn Black Nights and IFFMH festivals in Germany in 2020.
In the first half of 2024, Andrés filmed his fourth feature film by director Spiros Stathoulopoulos in Athens, Greece, starring Angeliki Papulia and Jan Bijvoet (Embrace of the Serpent, Peaky Blinders). He recently shot as a second-unit cinematographer on the Netflix series Delirio (premiere 2025).
His work has been featured in festivals such as Camerimage, Cairo, Bogoshorts, and Miami. In 2019 he was selected for the ASC's 'Visions' program, where Checco Varesse ASC (It 2, The 33) mentored him.
Apart from his work in film and television, Andrés is an active DP in advertising and music videos. He also holds a master's degree in cinematography from FAMU Film School (Prague, Czech Republic). Since 2023, he has been an active member of the Colombian Society of Cinematographers (ADFC).
